The Autumn of 2017 found me in Wyoming during a trying, yet somehow refreshing time for my family and I. It was a time of lamentation for former things, and a time of walking in faith towards that which was new. Driving into town one morning, I couldn't help but try to capture a photo of this glorious sunrise. Each sunrise I witnessed in Wyoming was awe-inspiring, and colored the sky in ways I had never seen before. At the dawn of Creation the Lord said, "Let there be Light!". And there was Light, and the Light was good. Should you find yourself lost, alone, and longing for those who are far away, rest in knowing that Light overcomes the darkness, and we can see this promise of light and life playing out each and every morning as the sun rises anew. Every sunrise is a reminder that we all live, move, breathe and have our being in the faithfulness of the One who made the sun, and gives us the promise of each day.
